IT’S SHOWTIME AT CATORCE BENIJOFAR ...
on Friday, July 15th. You can watch the Wonderful Variety Show Group and The Marina Tappers and enjoy a 2 course meal included in the ticket price of €10. The show starts at 9.00p.m and these two groups have joined together to produce a real foot tapping and sing along show.
The Variety Show Group support many charities and this year their travelling show with the Marina Tappers are supporting Paul Cunningham Nurses.
Eileen Carpenter is the quietly spoken but ‘iron lady’ behind The Variety Show Group and you will be amazed at the power of her voice, you will also be amazed at the end of the show to find there are only 6 in the group! Tony is the one man who has the fun of five stage ‘wives’ and then there are the five ladies themselves. There are so many costume changes you get the feeling there is a huge group behind stage but you can be assured there are only six in total and it will be a fun evening with some very talented voices, very fancy footwork and a good dash of humour thrown in!
Catorce is just off the main street in Benijofar and if you turn where the fireworks shop is and look to your left you will see Catorce in the lovely setting with trees and shaded areas just in front of the restaurant. If you are not sure where it is you can call Martyn or Paul on 639 235 606.

WANTED Cheap property in Gran Alacant
We have a client that is looking to buy a fairly cheap 2 or 3 bed duplex/Apartment in Gran Alacant. Our client is willing to pay around 88,000
euros, but she is not willing to pay a high community charge - by high she is saying she will not pay 89 euros (eightynine euros) per month (she says that is a little too high). It would also be good if the property had nice views (if possible).
Does anybody have a property to suit our client, or have a friend that wishes to sell please?

Recommedations Please of Where One can enjoy a nice meal with some light entertainment !
I wonder if anybody is able to advise. My friend and I very much like going out for an evening meal over the weekend with some kind of music/entertainment. I feel that many of the places we used to go to have now closed such as El Castillo, El Horreo (on Oasis), and several others in the Torrevieja area. We would be looking to be able to sit outside in this lovely weather, so as one could enjoy the nice evening breeze - and not in a cramped single unit - but with some nice space around us. Can anybody recommend any good venues that they use these days please? Thank you so very much.

I would recommend: PATIO ANDALUZ.
It is on the PUNTA PRIMA roundabout.
Its a spanish restaurant, with truly amazing spanish food. The restaurant is designed as a true andalucian patio, with winegrapes hanging down from the ceiling. Live music every night, and flamenco dance shows every thursday and sunday from 20:30. RESERVATION is NEEDED, because restaurant is always full. Its located on the PUNTA PRIMA ROUNDABOUT, next to McDonalds in a white building. Telephone number: 965716334.
The Sports Centre by the satalite roundabout are nwo doing entertainment every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings through the summer, a great atmosphere, lovely food and good entertainment.
Also the Final Whistle (near consume) have entertainment Friday and Sunday evenings, plus occasionally other evenings, they have a double unit and seating area at the front and back of the building.
I assume that this is Route 66 that is for sale? How sad, we love to go there when we come over and the owners, Martin and Alison, are lovely people. We will definitely miss them when they go. Just hope that whoever buys it keeps up the great standards that they have set.
